Music Therapy at Integration Counseling Services is The Singer Wannabe Workshop of which Kathryn is the creator.

Participants in this 8-week workshop have an opportunity to discover and overcome their personal blocks to the freedom of self-expression. Typical blocks identified in past workshops have included: self-esteem and confidence problems, anxiety/stage fright, not knowing how to identify and embrace unique vocal/performance strengths, perfectionism, procrastination, comparing self to others, and distortions about the role of singing in our culture. Other participants have used the workshop to address significantly deep wounds around singing, such as unexamined constraints from their family of origin or toxic relationships. Former participants will tell you that, along with insights and psychological breakthroughs, they experienced laughter, camaraderie, and unbridled joy.
