Restorative Yoga is a slow pace yoga class using deep breathing and restorative poses held for 5 minutes or more. This slower pace yoga will trigger the parasympathetic nervous system to slow your heart rate, increase intestinal and glandular activity, “Rest and Digest”.
A restorative yoga typically involves five poses, supported by props and allows you to completely relax without any discomfort, stress, strain, injury risk and pain.
