Freedom Through Boundaries: How to Avoid Relationship Drama
Presented by Ron and Kathryn Arrington: Integration Counseling Services
Kathryn and Ron will present guides to understanding relationship conflict, which almost invariably results from one or both parties not understanding “where they end and the other begins”.
Ron and Kathryn, with humor, compassion and a deep understanding of relationship struggles, will share sensible and useful tools to find a clear path away from drama toward genuine connection. These are tools that lend themselves to both immediate implementation and continuous skill development over time.
Participants will learn: Simple boundary definitions;
1. How boundaries can create relationship health by replacing manipulative control, passive conflict avoidance, and walls;
2. Predictable patterns that escalate conflict and perpetuate pain and how to stop engaging in them.
3. The role of boundaries in creating and deepening identity and intimacy.
Please join Ron and Kathryn Tuesday August 25 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Location is the group room at 217 E University Dr. (south entrance of the long building behind the big white house at 215 E University Dr). Enter Shambhala at the yoga sign, and park in rear of the house. Admission is $10.00 per person.
